Egri Bikavér and Egri Csillag

Both wines are produced on several different quality levels. While classicus is a good quality, suitable for everyday occasions, superior and grand superior show higher complexity.

There’s only one rule about blending in the Bolyki estate: the wine must be good. We make about 15 trial blends from both wines with different ratio. We taste them blind several times during the day and we choose the best 4. The next day we taste the best 4 again then we decide which one goes into the bottle.
